It has been so enjoyable for me to be able to attend book fairs, book and author signings, author nights, and library presentations for my fictional novel, “A Year of the Teacher”. Obviously, it is gratifying to sell and sign copies of my book. What is just as fulfilling is to talk about, and answer questions concerning all aspects of writing it, from the initial idea through publication. As a retired educator, those Q & A sessions and discussions are particularly pleasing when it involves high school, and college-aged readers.
There are two confirmed book signings thus far for me in January. They are both at Barnes and Noble Bookstores. The first is in Morgantown, West Virginia, USA on January 11, 2020. The second is in Woodmere, Ohio, USA (near Cleveland, Ohio, USA) on January 18, 2020. Both book signings are scheduled from 1-4. There are other signings/appearances for which details are in the process of being worked out.
I also wanted to inform those who’ve read, are reading, or are about to read “A Year of the Teacher”, that they’ll soon find out what happens to, Tony, the main character. The sequel is in the process of editing.
My wife, Joni, and I hope everyone had a fabulous Christmas! We wish the very best for everyone going into 2020.
